Low federal income taxes help grow our nation's economy, yet the federal tax code has become unwieldy and must be reformed.  Please indicate your position on current tax issues.

 
Preserve recent tax cuts.     
Make the U.S. tax code fairer and simpler.     
Adopt a totally new tax system such as a value-added tax or a flat tax.   
Make it harder for Congress to raise taxes by requiring a 2/3 "supermajority" vote.


Federal spending is out of control and government continues to become more intrusive in Americans' daily lives.  Please note your opinion on the following suggestions to cut the federal government down to size.

 
Aggressively rein-in government spending.   
Totally eliminate "pork-barrel" spending.   
Cut budgets for over-funded entitlement programs.
Eliminate corporate welfare where government subsidies underwrite corporate profits.
Adopt a Balanced Budget Amendment. 
Eliminate obsolete federally funded programs. 
Reduce federal deficit.     
Reduce federal regulations on business.  


Our nation faces serious challenges in fighting and winning the War on Terror in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Please indicate how you feel about the following options.

 
America must stand firm and fight terrorism abroad rather than here at home.
America must commit more troops to Iraq. 
We must set an immediate deadline to bring our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Americans must invest whatever it takes in dollars and manpower to win the War on Terror.
U.S. must strike at terrorists wherever they are.
The President and Congress must agree on the policies our nation pursues in waging the War on Terror.


America's military presence in the Middle East and its role in fighting the War on Terror is putting strenuous demands on our national defense operations.  Please share your opinion on how we can best strengthen the readiness of our military.

 
Continue to provide American troops with state-of-the-art weapons.
Greatly increase strength of National Guard.
Reinstate the military draft.   
Reorganize our intelligence capabilities and military structure.
Fund advanced hi-tech weaponry to minimize exposure of  troops in battle.
Provide maximum funding for veterans programs. 
Increase incentives for individuals interested in military service.


   





Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal Election Law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and employer for contributions that aggregate in excess of $200 in an election cycle. The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,300 per election. Couples may contribute $4,600. Federal PACs may contribute $5,000 per election. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors, national banks, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status are prohibited.
